Mr. Roeder obtained a B.A. with general honors in the College and special honors in political science from the University of Chicago in 1980. Simultaneously attending graduate school, he also received an M.A. in the social sciences from the University of Chicago in 1980.
Mr. Roeder received his J.D. in 1984 from the University of Illinois, where he was an editor of its Law Review and received its Rickert Award for Excellence in Legal Writing.
Mr. Roeder was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1984 and also has been admitted to the following federal, trial and appellate courts:
